Dutch Neck Road Improvements
A $250,000 grant from the New Jersey Department of Transportation to improve Dutch Neck Road from Route 130 to One Mile Road and One Mile Road from Dutch Neck Road to Princeton-Hightstown Road (Route 571), will be used for repaving, curbing, drainage and work handicap ramps on the roads near the municipal court and police station.

East Windsor In Line for New Shopping Center
The new owners of the abandoned trucking depot on Route 33 near Probasco Road discussed their preliminary plans to build a shopping complex, 100-room hotel and a restaurant at the site. According to their presentation, they are considering developing the site in few phases of construction, with the first including about 15 stores with a village type look. The second phase would include office space, a family-style restaurant, a coffee shop, and a 100-room mid-range hotel.

Route 130 Sidewalk
The New Jersey Department of Transportation is beginning the final phase of its pedestrian safety improvement project by constructing a sidewalk along Route 130 in East Windsor Township. The new sidewalk is aimed at filling the missing gaps in the existing sidewalks along both sides of Route 130 from Old Cranbury Road to Route 571 and between Dutch Neck Road and Hickory Corner Road. The project is expected to be completed by late November.
